Stirling Council Archives

Stirling Council Archives holds records dating from the 14th century to the present day. This wonderful collection provides the Council with a corporate memory of its rich past as the central city of Scotland, and the community with an unrivalled resource that allows access to its collective history and heritage. Set up in 1975 as the Central Regional Archives, the facility has been providing access to historical information for both colleagues within the Council and members of the public for nearly 40 years.
